Common Installation Questions
What if we would like to handle the installations ourselves?
That’s why we create custom training videos for each building. We’ll come onsite, walk you through the install, and make a video specific to your setup. We’re always available for questions and happy to come back until you’re fully comfortable.
Can the CondoElite be custom to our building?
Absolutely. We’ve developed multiple custom versions for different buildings based on space constraints and existing control box configurations. We take pride in tailoring the solution—and it’s on us to deliver the best possible fit for your building.
Is CondoElite compatible with all fan coil units?
Depending on your building’s existing control box configuration, we offer multiple installation options. In some cases, CondoElite replaces the existing control housing with an integrated fan speed switch. In others if the switch box is unremovable, it installs seamlessly into your current control box through an existing knockout, working alongside your existing fan speed switch while adding wireless thermostat control.
Can I control multiple rooms with one thermostat?
Technically, yes—and in some cases, like a combined living and dining room, we’ve done it. However, most condo buildings have varying layouts, older windows, and uneven temperature zones. Because of this, each room performs best with its own thermostat.
The advantage of CondoElite is that it gives you true zoned HVAC control—something that’s often difficult and expensive to achieve even in single-family homes.
